Every business has a story—ours begins with a classroom and a dream
Founded in 2009 by Mr Lim, ETC started as ETC Academy, a modest training centre located in Kepong, Selangor. Mr Lim, who came from a background in electrical work and construction, had one clear mission: To Equip Malaysians With Real, Practical Skills To Build A Better Future.
At the time, many aspiring contractors, electricians, and business owners were struggling. Some lacked the right guidance. Others didn’t know where to begin. So Mr Lim began offering training programs—not just to pass exams, but to help people truly understand the industry and gain confidence in their skills.
Over the next few years, ETC Academy trained over 100 students, many of whom went on to start their own businesses. But as more and more graduates returned, asking for help with license applications, registration processes, and business setup, it became clear: They Needed More Than Just Knowledge—They Needed Direction.
In 2019, we took the leap and changed to consultation services. That’s when ETC Pro Consult Sdn. Bhd. was officially formed.
